E-learning is Inevitable!

In this ever-changing world, if you want to have a successful career and rewarding future, you need to constantly upgrade yourself. You have to spend at least one hour a day to study to keep up. Since life is already busy for most of us, e-learning is the solution. According to research, as this century unfolds, it is estimated that 50% of learning will be in the form of e-learning.

Advantages of e-learning:

  • You can learn from home, thereby reducing traveling time which can be used towards learning.
  • You can learn at your own pace.
  • You can learn at your “peak” learning time. If you learn best at 11 pm, it would be hard for you to find a traditional in-person class that starts at 11 pm! However, with e-learning, you can learn at virtually any time you want.
  • You are not geographically limited, so you can have access to qualified teachers even if they are not physically close to you.
  • Technology will drive the costs of learning down.

What does it mean for English learners?

As English is getting more and more important globally, non-native English speakers need to improve their English to stay competitive.

E-learning English allows you to fit learning English into your busy daily schedule - you can set your own time to learn, and at your own pace.

Perhaps most importantly, you are not limited to the few “famous” local language schools. Using the Internet to learn English, you have a wide range of teacher choice from virtually anywhere in the world – you can pick a teacher who is qualified, experienced, well-prepared, dedicated, and good at teaching. It is already happening in Japan and many other countries. English learners are now demanding more from their English teachers in terms of their qualifications and experience, and this may result in eventually eliminating those unscrupulous language schools which hire unqualified and/or inexperienced “teachers”.

Additionally, you do not have to pay excessively to take English lessons. Internet English lessons should be less expensive than the traditional in-person lessons because teachers do not have to commute to work, and schools do not have to rent huge space to accommodate students.

It all makes sense, doesn't it?

Whether you like it or not, the tidal wave of e-learning is coming!  Take advantage of it and start e-learning!
