About Hazel
Hi, I am Hazel and I am from Toronto, Canada.
Right now, though, I am living with my husband and my dog, Hana, in
Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.
I
am a TESOL teacher. I have a Master's degree in TESOL (it stands
for "Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages"). I have taught English in universities and language schools
in Japan and Hong Kong. In November 2003, I
started my own online teaching business. Using instant chat and
messaging programs such as MSN Messenger and Skype, I give English
lessons to adult English learners. I teach mostly Japanese and Korean

In
my free time, I like making web pages, surfing the Internet, reading,
and making pottery. I do yoga and go for long walks with my dog to
stay fit.
Besides
English, I have learned and can speak Japanese and Chinese. I know
how hard and yet challenging it is to learn a foreign language.
